I am using IT Headline for a news and information niche industry community portal website: www.condovoice.com. I have worked very hard to get it to this point, and overall I am happy tih the template. I just now registered it on the search engines. I am still improving it, and will be adding content daily. I want to improve the video player, adding multiple player and video in articles capability. My next learning curve is to SEO the site to it's max. I do appreciate comments from others using Icetheme templates. I believe they are very good at news content layout. However, I find they have conflicts with a lot of third party modules, as they disable the menus and other Icetheme modules often, so they cannot be used unless rewritten. If you have any advice on modules that do NOT conflict with the Icetheme templates and existing modules, please let me know. If you have questions about using a particular third party module with Icetheme, maybe I can help, having made a folder full of modules and extensions that do conflict. I look forward to future template by Icetheme, that add more extension capabilities.

My point regarding the JavaScript issue is this. You can enable any extension that you want which is based on MooTools 1.1 (if it is on other version then there is no problem) if you will correctly follow this forum thread.

Regarding SEO im not that im an expert. Still we are struggling to have IceTheme rated at top 10 on google for "Joomla Templates" which in fact we will do in the near future.
A best extension is S404Sef for SEO friendly URL-s which we use to on IceTheme. It will remove teh index.php from your url.


From your site i have some suggestions.

- Enable breadcrumbs since your site is large in content.
- Remove one item from the IceSlider as it breaks the bottom part of the IceSlider
